I meant to finsih this for Winter Solstice but I’m fashionably late, however the holidays aren’t over so to all of my followers; Happy Holidays! 

They’re gonna celebrate the good ol fashion way and have a great big feast! Tons of food and drink! Roasted pork belly/ribs or mutton, some cloudberry cream, krumkake

and lefse. Yeah! Mmm now I’m hungry for all of that…

I was really happy to see the post going around the other day about Santa and Odin being one in the same. A blend of St Nicholas and Odin. It’s nice to see more people realizing that a lot of Christmas tradition originated from the Norse and growing up in my own home some of that tradition was observed ( Thank you Gram ) and I carry it with me even today.
