I don’t mind at all!
It depends, I guess. Sometimes a nap is enough to get me in a better mood. Often I, instead of making myself happy right away, try to relax and clear my thoughts. Watch some cute animal videos, play a relaxing or fun game, read something interesting. You know, center my thoughts a bit away form it all.
And then afterwards, I do little things for myself. Maybe I’ll buy the good cookies instead of the discount ones, or I put something nice on and remind myself that I look cute af. Treat yoself, kids!
But yeah, I try to not just force myself to be happy. Sometimes it’s important to be sad, have a good, long cry by yourself, or with a good friend, and then try and be happy afterwards! Whatever makes you feel better ^^
